As a Shopify Web Developer, you will contribute to the development of best-in-class Shopify storefronts, crafting engaging and high-converting experiences for online shoppers. You will be part of a highly skilled team, working on projects that push the boundaries of e-commerce technology.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes, using Liquid templating, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate with Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL) to build custom functionalities and connect with third-party services.
- Optimize website speed and performance for a better user experience and improved search engine rankings.
- Implement SEO best practices within the Shopify platform.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure seamless implementation of visual designs.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues effectively.
- Participate in code reviews and drive best practices for Shopify development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, APIs, and development trends.
- Work with project managers to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality projects.
QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS
- 3-5 years of experience in web development, with at least 2 years of specialized experience in Shopify theme development and customization. 6+ years of overall web development experience is a strong plus.
- Deep understanding of Liquid templating language, Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL), and Shopify's theme architecture.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.
- Experience integrating with third-party Shopify apps and services (e.g., payment gateways, shipping providers).
- Proficient with Git and version control workflows, and Agile methodologies (specifically [mention framework, e.g., Scrum]).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Highly Desired:
- Experience building headless Shopify storefronts.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails (for advanced Shopify backend customizations).
- Experience with Shopify app development.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, UX, and CRO.
- Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
