AKQA has received six finalist placements in Fast Company’s Innovation by Design awards along with 10 honourable mentions.

Celebrating 10 years, the awards recognise people, teams and companies that transform businesses, organisations and society through design. They also identify the trends that have steadily advanced design to the forefront of the business conversation with entries judged on innovations that include functionality, originality, beauty, sustainability, user insight, cultural impact and business impact.
H&M Looop created in partnership with Universal Design Studio has been recognised for originality in reducing landfill by being named as a finalist in Retail Innovation, Fashion and Beauty and the Impact categories.
Earth Speakr has garnered recognition as a finalist for cultural impact in the Apps and Games category as a creative way to encourage kids to share their hopes for the future with world leaders.
Debuting at the Australian Open, Action Audio is named as a finalist in the the Sports Recreation category by enabling audiences with visual impairments to follow tennis matches in real time.
HESTA’s Empowering Women’s Financial Futures digital tool, which aims to balance superannuation gender inequality, was also named as a finalist in the Finance category.
