AKQA selected by Amazon

Voice has become far more than just an input method to control and access services. With Amazon Echo, you can now receive meaningful connections that are intelligently tailored to preferences and tastes for you and your family at home.

Recently Jamie Oliver Group partnered with AKQA to introduce the first voice-controlled recipe skill for the Amazon Alexa in the UK. The Jamie Oliver Skill uses Alexa, Amazon’s cloud-based voice service, to provide hands-free inspiration to over 160 recipes.

Following the successful launch, AKQA has been selected to be part of the Alexa Skills Creator & Resource programme created by Amazon.

Commenting on the announcement Amazon said: “Customers are interacting with technology in the most natural way possible – by talking. Now is the time to create engaging experiences for your brand. We’ve made it easy to find companies with expertise in designing, developing and optimizing Alexa skills.”
