Paul Ostryzniuk promoted to AKQA Executive Creative Director

Paul Ostryzniuk has been promoted to Executive Creative Director for the London studio.

Since joining AKQA in 2013, Paul has become a trusted creative leader within the London studio, driving innovative, multi-disciplinary work for some of the world’s most iconic luxury brands. With roles from Designer to Group Creative Director, he has guided teams through projects that define AKQA’s reputation for sophisticated and impactful creative work. Paul takes pride in earning clients’ trust, recognising that exceptional work depends on their confidence and bravery.

Reflecting on Paul’s promotion, Johnny Budden, AKQA Chief Creative Officer commented “This appointment acknowledges Paul’s exceptional contribution to our team, clients, and work over a decade at AKQA. Under Paul’s leadership, AKQA has crafted dynamic digital ecosystems for luxury and consumer brands, enhancing their global presence and proving highly effective in generating results.

Paul has launched flagship campaigns across film, photography, events, podcasts, digital, and social media. Notably, in collaboration with the World Gold Council, he led a documentary series exploring gold’s rich history and symbolism, which garnered over 65 million views worldwide. His impressive campaign direction and storytelling expertise have earned him international recognition, including Cannes Lions, Webby awards, and multiple FWAs.

On his promotion, Paul said, “Receiving an invitation to inspire our team and our clients through the values that established AKQA is a true honour. I’m guided by the responsibility of nurturing our team’s creative excellence, so together we may craft meaningful and effective work defined by its impact on the future.”

Paul’s role as a mentor and educator has extended beyond the creative industry, impacting the next generation of talent. He serves as a D&AD New Blood mentor, is a founding member of The Dots, and frequently leads masterclasses in portfolio development. Additionally, he delivers guest lectures at various educational institutions including London College of Communication at UAL and has served as a Future Lions judge at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity
