Precision On Point

Launching the Phantom GX in style.

Insight

Turning a traditional product launch into an unmissable cultural event.

To launch Nike’s latest Phantom GX boot innovation, a series of disruptive events were created across Manchester and Barcelona; bringing elite athletes and Nike members together through a festival themed entirely around precision.

Idea

A celebration of all things precision.

Taking inspiration from the Phantom GX’s positioning as the best boot for goalscoring and precise play; every touchpoint of the event was tailored around precision.

Erling Haaland and Alexia Putellas, two athletes at the top of their game when it comes to goal-scoring, dropped in to unveil the boots and answer questions from the young audience members.

The Manchester experience was amplified to the world through a media placement, wrapping a giant image of Erling Haaland around the iconic Arndale building in Manchester’s City centre.

The two Precision on Point events featured product trials, interactive challenges and a zone where members could customise their own jerseys with bespoke Nike badges.

Through meticulous planning and execution, over 700 fans were sent exclusive invitations, igniting online engagement with 500,000+ likes on Instagram and 550,000+ views on TikTok.
