Expressions of adventure, especially in the automobile space, have traditionally been narrow and exclusionary, inhibiting the opportunity for more people to connect with their adventurous spirit.

Rivian, a California EV manufacturer, is launching the R2, a vehicle that not only equips anyone for whatever they call adventure but does so at a more accessible price point.

Adventure isn’t something to seek. Life itself is the adventure. It’s this spirit that inspired the unveil film for the R2. A cinematic ode to the human experiences the vehicles enable, created in collaboration with Director, Jason Harper.

A blast from the past.

The Slideshow film for the R3 and R3X serves as a teaser for Rivian’s future vision.

The film was inspired by the theatre in which it debuted and the sense of modern nostalgia evoked by the designs of the R3 and R3X.

Impact

The redefinition of adventure.

The work contributed to exceeding all KPIs in the first two days of the campaign. On the day of the event in which the videos premiered, Rivian’s stock rose by 13% and the brand garnered millions of impressions in the press. This all came at a pivotal moment for Rivian, as the EV competition continues to rise.
